  • Be@School Liaison

    The Attendance Liaison will work in Hennepin County to monitor and improve the attendance of American Indian students. The staff person will adhere to the guidelines set forth by Hennepin County's Be@School program.

  • Youth Worker

    The Youth Worker is responsible for providing supervision and programming for all group activities, providing van transportation for clients enrolled in the program, and preparing written monthly reports. The program is designed to help elementary and high school children enhance their school readiness, and provides a wide variety of cultural, academic, and fun extracurricular activities.

  • Director of Programs

    The Director of Programs works with the Executive Director to facilitate program effectiveness and provide supervisory support.  The Division of Indian Work (DIW), founded in 1952, is the oldest direct-service organization for American Indians in the Twin Cities. DIW operates a family of programs that serve American Indians from tribal affiliations across Minnesota with a special emphasis on the urban American Indian population. DIW headquarters is located in the heart of the Phillips and Powderhorn neighborhoods of Minneapolis.

  • WTB Program Coordinator

    This is a six-month position from January-June 2025. The coordinator will facilitate weekly support groups for American Indian mothers and their babies.

  • DASC Advocate

    The Advocate’s time will be spent in a hybrid model, working from home as well as at the Domestic Abuse Service Center (DASC), which is in downtown Minneapolis. This person provides crisis management, legal advocacy, support, and assistance with Orders for Protection, handles walk-ins, and directly reports to Hennepin County.
