Mothers of Tradition is a weekly parenting class for Native expecting mothers, or care givers of Native identifying children. This class will take place every Friday afternoon in our lower level. For more information or any questions, email Tawny below:

-Calling the number provided is one of the best ways to sign up. The main number to DIW is NOT the same number as the food shelf and your message could get missed.

-Please keep your message BRIEF. Name, Birthdate & Phone number. We receive hundreds of messages and giving just the information needed would be very helpful.
-When your call is returned,” CHARITY CALL” will show up on your phone and/or the number 612-722-8722.
-Please make sure your VM is NOT full.
-We will attempt to return your call no more than 3 times.
-In the past some messages had bad reception, and we are unable to hear the message clearly so if you do not receive a call back in a few days, please try again.

Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps Talking Circle
Every other Monday starting September 23rd there will be a 12 Step Talking Circle for adults. Participants who complete 12 steps will be honored by being graduated with a Blanketing Ceremony.
